Porsche has unveiled new versions of the Cayenne GTS and GTS Coupe: both now ship with the same eight-cylinder engine as the latest Panamera.
The Cayenne range still occupies the middle ground between the S (440 hp / 328 kW) and Turbo (550 hp / 410 kW) models. However, while the previous GTS generation made do with a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 440 hp (328 kW), the new one gains quite a bit of power thanks to its superior displacement. Specifically, it churns out 460 hp (343 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft).
The new GTS also enjoys eight-speed automatic transmission and AWD. The optional Sport Chrono package enables it to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and hit 270 km/h (168 mph).
Even in their most basic specs, the SUV and coupe both get sports-grade low suspension and the Sport Design package for black body details. Interior features include sport seats, Alcantara, and aluminum details.
The new Porsche Cayenne GTS starts from U.S. $107,300 in the USA; the coupe SUV version starts from $110,500.
