Video: World’s fastest Cayenne Turbo goes 333 km/h

Check out this tuned Porsche Cayenne Turbo hitting a German autobahn with 333 kilometers per hour (207 mph).

The bulky crossover SUV received numerous expensive upgrades from HGP for its record-breaking run. The German tuner succeeded in raising the output of the standard 4.0-liter V8 TT from its usual 550 hp (410 kW) to 962 hp (717 kW). The torque skyrocketed from 480 Nm (356 lb-ft) to 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft). The client paid €30,000 for the upgrade.

As a result, the Cayenne – which weighs in at 2,385 kilos, by the way, or 5,258 pounds – zapped from the start line to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds, surpassing the stock sprint time by a whole second. It then proceeded to reach 200 km/h (124 mph) in ten seconds, and did not hit its speed ceiling until 333 km/h (217 mph), an impressive achievement over the factory-promised 286 km/h (177 mph).
