Nebulus-tuned Cayenne Turbo goes faster than the Huracan Evo

Designer Hajo Lemke of EightEleven Design, German tuner HGP Turbo Retrofitting, clothing brand Nebulus and Austrian vinyl wrap producer BlackBox-Richter have all had a hand in this unique project: the Nebulus Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

The sports car had its four-liter twin-turbocharged V8 boosted from the stock 550 hp (410 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque all the way to 962 hp (717 kW) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft). And while even the stock car can hit 286 km/h (177.7 mph) given the right conditions, the HGP turbo kit made it go 333 km/h (207 mph), according to accurate GPS measurements. It also accelerates 100-200 km/h (62-124 mph) in mere 7.08 seconds.

Outfitting your Cayenne like this necessitates €23,400 for the kit plus €1,500 for the installation. If you think you can make do with a more restrained package rated for 786 hp (586 kW) and 1,061 Nm (783 lb-ft), set aside €8,900 plus €1,000 installation.

Options include a purpose-built exhaust system and a firmware upgrade for the stock eight-speed auto transmission to help it switch gears on higher rev counts. Apparently, new/heavy-duty transmission hardware is not included.

In purely visual terms, the custom car boasts 22-inch forged wheels, body graphics and two layers of vinyl that reportedly take a whole week to apply. The carbon-ceramic brakes with their ten-piston front calipers and four-piston rear ones stay stock.
