A most unusual bit of real estate is now being sold in Hague, Netherlands. The townhouse in question is a spacious building 277 m2 (3,000 ft.) large which was built around a car garage because its owner wanted to be able to park his beloved ride in the living room. It costs slightly north of €1,500,000.
As one can see on the photos provided, the humongous ex-garage now acts as a living room with a WC, a wardrobe and a storage room. The middle part of the house interior is dominated by his owner’s luxurious Porsche Cayenne – and it looks pretty natural, at that.
Things like this have happened on the local real estate market before. There is a Porsche Boxster serving as an integral part of the kitchen interior decoration in a house in Amsterdam, for example. Or a Speedster 911 sitting in its own dedicated glass-walled room in a house belonging to one Andreas Kümmel. It’s whatever floats your boat, we think.
