2024 Porsche Cayenne debuts with more powerful engines

Porsche has revealed the details concerning the latest update of its flagship SUV, the Cayenne. The model ended up with exterior, interior and suspension improvements, as well as a revised engine lineup. You can already place a reservation with prices starting from $79,200.

The overall styling stays recognizable, but there are new body kit parts all around. The front fascia in particular is nearly all-new with the bumper, the hood and the fenders replaced. The rear end makes do with new taillights, and the wheel design has been updated, too.

More novelty can be found in the cabin. There is a new center console, the gear selector has moved to the dashboard, and you can now opt for a third display mounted at the front passenger side (10.9 inches large). In addition to the visible changes, Porsche says air filtering efficiency has improved in the new version.

By default, the SUV comes equipped with new adaptive shock absorbers, and stock air-ride suspension is available at a premium.

In Europe, the base spec comes equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 rated at 353 PS (348 hp / 260 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. Alternatively, you can get a hybrid version based on the same engine and have 470 PS (464 hp / 346 kW) at your disposal. Finally, the Porsche Cayenne S version now utilizes a 4.0-liter V8 instead of its usual V6, getting 474 PS (468 hp / 349 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque out of it.
