Porsche has introduced the Cayenne S E-Hybrid, which combines a turbocharged V6 with an electric engine for 519 PS (512 hp / 382 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. The sales will begin in October.
The main engine pumps out 353 PS (348 hp / 260 kW), and the electric motor adds another 176 PS (174 hp / 129 kW). When combining efforts, they take the crossover SUV from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and up to a top speed of 263 km/h (163 mph).
The battery holds 25.9 kilowatt-hours of power and can be used for up to 90 km (56 miles) of all-electric driving. A built-in 11kW charger replenishes it completely in two and a half hours.
By default, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid rides on 20-inch wheels, adaptive air-ride suspension and Matrix headlights.
