Porsche Cayman GT4 RS spied testing on the Nürburgring

Porsche has begun testing what looks like an RS version of its Cayman GT4 coupe. Both the spy photos and the video filmed at the ‘Ring seem to support this guess, but the carmaker stays silent so far.

The first generation of the GT4 Cayman never received an RS spec, so it is only logical to expect one to be added to the lineup now. Based on the pics and the video, the car gets a different hood cover with NACA air ducts, a redesigned front bumper, a swan’s-neck rear wing, a rear air intake for the engine, and larger brake calipers.

The contents of the engine bay are a matter of speculation right now, but if we had to guess, a 4.0-liter non-turbo six-cylinder rated at 414 hp (309 kW) sounds about right. Perhaps a boost to around 450 hp (336 kW) is due, but that’s about it.
