Porsche has disclosed nearly everything there is to know about the upcoming 718 Cayman GT4 RS, including its price in the United States.
The Cayman flagship comes powered by the same four-liter naturally aspirated engine as the 911 GT3. Its output amounts to 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW) and 449 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque. A seven-speed PDK transmission drives the rear wheels, taking the lightweight ride 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in 3.2 seconds. The maximum attainable speed lies as high as 315 km/h (195 mph).
The body kit incorporates a 919 RSR rear wing and generates 25% more downforce than the standard GT4. The car body is largely made of carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CFP). The rear window is made from a lightweight compound, too, and the doors have minimalistic loops instead of traditional handles.
In the North America, the range-topping Cayman will start at $141,700 USD.
