The Cayman GT4 RS that just debuted is road-legal, but if you don’t feel like driving it in traffic anyway, check out the Clubsport.
The car is meant exclusively for track use and comes equipped with the same flat-six mill as the 911 GT3 Cup. Rated at 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW), it links to a seven-speed PDK transmission and RWD system. Both the suspension and the aerodynamics sport radical upgrades compared to their road-worthy counterparts, and the body makes intensive use of biological compounds.
Inside, the Clubsport has a single Recaro racing seat, a safety cage, and a fire extinguishing system. Customers may request the standard exhaust system swapped out for a less loud one if they intend to participate in events where lower noise levels are a requirement.
Prices will begin from $229,000 when the new Cayman Clubsport ships in the USA.
