Watch a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS feel the onrush of wind as it rushes to Rushmore

Porsche has filmed a beautifully minimalistic video of a 718 Cayman GT4 RS navigating round the sharp bends leading up to the famous pinnacle of the Mount Rushmore.

As you may remember, the sports car draws its power from the same 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine as the 911 GT3, just tuned to deliver 500 PS (492 hp / 369 kW). The drive is on the rear axle as usual, and the transmission is Porsche’s signature seven-speed PDK.

The road to the Mount Rushmore consists of 314 sharp bends, some of them squeezed between walls of granite. It is considered fairly dangerous, and the driver in the video did well to keep the acceleration in check. Even so, it is highly enjoyable to watch – definitely worth of our recommendation!
