Porsche has posted a series of photos made in Singapore depicting five of its latest Porsche Macan compact SUVs wearing unique color schemes. Each of these celebrates a major success in the company’s history.
One of the cars, which is painted white with red, blue, and light blue streaks, bears obvious homage to Martini Racing, the permanent sponsor of Porsche sports vehicles since 1968.
Another one, painted pink, is reminiscent of the Porsche 917 prototype vehicle which braved the Le Mans racetrack in 1971.
The red one is dedicated to Porsche Salzburg, whereas another one sports the iconic powder-blue-and-marigold-orange livery of Gulf Racing. Finally, the last SUV bears the color scheme of Rothmans, another major sponsor of Porsche.
