The latest Porsche Macan spy photos published by Autoevolution reveal nothing about the upcoming all-electric version of the SUV, but give us an idea about its charging capabilities.
The prototype, which was photographed in Norway, drew its power from a 175kW station and was able to replenish 44.152 kilowatt-hours of charge within barely more than 15 minutes.
The manufacturer revealed earlier on that there would be multiple Macan EV variants to choose from, but only one battery size for all – 100 kWh. Getting it up from 5 to 80 percent would only take 25 minutes given a sufficiently powerful charging source.
The car had been originally scheduled for launch in 2023, but Porsche pushed it back to 2024 due to unspecified software issues.
