Next-gen Porsche Panamera reveals cabin

The latest spy shots suggest that the new Panamera will largely share the interior design with the Taycan EV, including a separate display for the front passenger.

All displays at the front row are built into the horizontal dashboard. The gear selector resides between the steering wheel base and the screen in the middle. A touch-sensitive panel occupies the rest of the transmission tunnel space.

The infotainment display shows what looks like the final production version of the Panamera, but poor image quality prevents any conclusions from being made. Fake paneling conceals the exterior, too.

Motor1 supposes that the new Panamera may make use of the same engine range as the current generation (see video). This covers a 2.9-liter turbo-six, a 4.0-liter turbo-eight, and a couple of hybrid powertrains. If so, we may safely expect these engines to get across-the-board improvements in terms of power, torque and battery efficiency if applicable. Charging times should also become a bit shorter.

We will learn more when the next generation debuts on official terms next year.
