A dealership in the town of Yinchuan, China, has erroneously put a Porsche Panamera up for sale with an asking price of 124,000 Yuan, way below the recommended starting price of 998,000 Yuan. Several hundred people had paid an advance payment before the error was discovered.
Dealership representatives canceled the transactions, personally contacted every affected buyer, apologized and refunded the payments. The first person in queue who noticed the error and ordered the car reportedly entered into an ‘acceptable agreement’ with the dealer. The details are missing, but we would imagine them getting a minor discount or another incentive with their purchase – but not really a Panamera liftback for 124,000 Yuan (currently 18,442 USD).
