Porsche has released a new minute-long video ad dedicated to its first electric vehicle, the Taycan. The car is portrayed sitting in the garage next to some of Porsche’s most iconic vehicles from the past.
The electric cars are still not nearly as popular as traditional ICE-powered ones, with many customers convinced that driving an EV can never be as exciting as driving a gas-powered car. With this video, Porsche tries to convince the skeptics that the opposite may actually be the case.
The motto goes, ‘Different fuel. Same soul.’ This is precisely the message the German supercar maker tries to get across. A few days ago, the company even revealed a sound imitation module for the Taycan, lending the silent EV a gas engine-inspired mp3 soundtrack.
Whatever your own position in all this, there is no stopping the progress. ICE car makers find it exceedingly difficult to comply with the ever-stricter environmental laws, and the dawn of the electric personal transportation era is upon us.
