Porsche will be unveiling an estate/wagon late this year based on the Taycan EV chassis and tech. The car had already been spotted on a racetrack earlier (see the video), and now, several high-quality photos were made during wintertime road tests.
In all likelihood, the newcomer will be called Taycan Sport Turismo, just like the estate version of the Panamera. The shots reveal the front end and the sides, while the rear end is both covered in snow and wrapped in factory camo. That said, we wouldn’t expect any big surprises, because it will likely be closely based on the Mission E Cross Turismo Concept Porsche revealed in the fall of 2018.
From the technical point of view, the Taycan Sport Turismo is identical to its sedan/saloon counterpart. This means it will ship in three configurations – 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S, two battery sizes – 79,2 kWh and 93.4 kWh, and between 530 and 761 horsepower (390 and 560 kilowatts).
An SUV variant of the Taycan will debut simultaneously with the launch of the Taycan wagon. It will likely be called Cross Turismo and boast higher road clearance along with an off-road kit.
