Porsche will be complementing the Taycan EV family with GTS and Sport Turismo versions, as a spy photo from a dealership seems to indicate.
According to the photographer – who is also an owner of the German company’s first electric sports car – he noticed the two new versions on a computer display in a showroom. He had shared the image on a forum, but it was later removed.
The abbreviation ‘GTS’ stands for ‘Gran Turismo Sport’. Porsche uses it to denote track-focused cars with low curb weight, as well as tweaked suspension and steering. A special body kit is also high on our expectations list.
The Sport Turismo is in essence the same as the Cross Turismo, minus ‘off-road’ trappings. It usually gets a lower stance as well.
Both new versions could arrive in 2022.
