Shortly after Taiwan-based tuner Zacoe unveiled its carbon-fiber aero suit for the Taycan EV, another company by the name of ProTuning revealed its offer. What’s so special about it? Let’s find out.
If we had to pick one characteristic of the body kit that surprised us, it would be ‘restrained’. The Latvia-based shop’s earlier project involving a BMW 7-Series went rather over-the-top with sporty aggression, but this one actually comes across as understated and elegant. Included are a front splitter, side skirts, aluminum diffuser fins for the rear apron, assorted side add-ons and… that’s it. No oversized rims, no slammed suspension and no grotesquely flared fenders. We must admit, we like it more this way.
Depicted here is a Taycan Turbo S, and the company does not specify whether all components are compatible with the regular Taycan. Prices also remain undisclosed. Even so, it looks like ProTuning has quite a creative range going on from an extreme 7-Series to this project. One has to wonder what comes next.
