The German sports car manufacturer calculated how many cars it had sold from January till September this year: around 217,000 units, or 13% more than over the same period last year.
The United States once again came out on top in the list of major markets, with a 30% rise to 51,615 units. China was also lucrative with an 11% increase in sales and 69,789 units sold total. Europe was slower with only 2% more cars sold than in 2020, or 56,332 units.
The Taycan EV proved to be the second most popular model on the lineup, overtaking even the Panamera and the new 911. Even so, it came second to the Cayenne, which has sold 62,451 instances since January.
