The eighth season of the Formula E starts soon with a tuned Porsche Taycan Turbo S added to the safety car fleet.
The electric sedan sports largely external modifications, such as a unique livery, blinker lights in the front bumper and on the roof, a roll cage and a fire extinguisher that should come in handy in the event of a collision.
Found inside are racing seats with six-point harnesses, multiple special switches on the center console, and a red button on the steering wheel. Other than that, though, this is a standard Taycan Turbo S capable of launching itself with the force of 761 PS (750 hp / 560 kW), sprinting from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds.
