Porsche Taycan morphs into a striking art car for Japan

Art cars can be beautiful, shocking or revolting – just like art itself, really – but you can safely expect something magnificent when Shun Sudo picks up the brush.

Sudo, who combines sumi-e with street art in his works, will be exhibiting this Porsche Taycan all around Japan starting this month. In March and April, the so-called Taycan Soul Canvas will visit Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.

The livery depicts flowers of various sizes and shades scattered all around the supercar body contrasted by black wheels. Sudo said he was very happy to collaborate with Porsche.

This is not the first time someone turns the Taycan into a canvas. Richard Phillips did the same a year ago, transferring his 2010 painting titled ‘Queen of the Night’ to the exterior of the electric sedan.
