Porsche Taycan EV sheds 100 lbs of weight at JÄGER

German tune-up shop JÄGER has rolled out a complex upgrade for the all-electric Porsche Taycan, endowing the luxury sedan with carbon-fiber bodywork, 21-inch wheels and gold accents.

But despite looking as stunning as any part-carbon car does, it is arguably the wheels that attract the most attention here. Shaped like aerodynamic turbines with massive hubcaps in the middle, they manage to combine sporty aggression with elegance and even offset the black color of the body with their short brushed-aluminum spokes.

The carbon fiber is in abundance here: the hood, both bumpers, the front fenders, the side mirror housings and door handles, the rear wing and diffuser are all made from the same expensive material. Untouched areas include the trunk lid, the doors, the rear fenders and the roof, as well as some other, less noticeable details.

As a result, the supercar runs 45 kilograms (100 pounds) lighter than stock. JÄGER did not bother to measure any sprint times, but the range-topping Taycan Turbo S packs 761 PS (750 hp / 553 kW) and zaps from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6 seconds. We don’t expect this one to be any slower.
