Porsche will sell the Taycan track pack outside of Germany if there’s a demand

As of right now, Porsche only offers its optional track pack for the Taycan EV in Germany. The package sets up the car to use the same drivetrain settings as the example that hit the Nürburgring lap record. Autocar is now reporting that the company intends to bring the option to other markets as long as it is desired.

The so-called Taycan Performance Kit includes lightweight 21-inch RS Spyder wheels (previously available exclusively for the Taycan GTS), Pirelli P Zero Corsa, and updated software for the Porsche 4D Chassis Control.

Only the range-topping Taycan Turbo S is supported. No mechanical changes are included in the upgrade. Lars Kern, the driver and co-developer of the kit, explains that its goal is to improve handling and maneuverability.

In Germany, prices for the Taycan Performance Kit start from €13,377.
