Porsche showcases a trio of art installations in China

Porsche has attended the Aranya Theater Festival in North China with three art objects referencing its current car portfolio. Two out of three installations incorporated actual Porsches.

Called The Art of Dreams, the project aims to demonstrate how dreams about owning a Porsche can be interpreted in drastically different ways by different people.

Dream Bold is an image of the 911 (934) racecar composed from backlit metal pipes. According to its creator, Benedict Radcliffe, the visual tension is supposed to ‘stimulate a strong resonance for dreams’ in viewers.

The other two objects were dedicated to the Taycan EV. Dream in Motion depicts an electric sports car ripping through a sand bank, with the clouds of dust behind it visualized as colorful bubbles. The third installation puts the car into a giant glass bottle and wraps it in a scroll of paper that symbolizes Ferdinand Porsche’s famous blueprint of the Porsche 356. The company calls the whole object a modern implementation of the company founder’s dreams about sports cars.
