Militem, a relatively new tune-up company based in Italy, has unveiled its own rendition of Jeep and Ram-branded off-roaders and trucks. Modifications will make it as far as the exterior, interior and engine.
The current offer encompasses three models: Hero (Jeep Renegade), Ferox (Jeep Wrangler), and Magnum (Ram 1500). All three land with a sophisticated body kit bringing along new bumpers, fenders, radiator grille, hood, and side sills. The interior gets a luxury makeover with leather and other costly trim materials used throughout.
The powertrains only get minor improvements across the board. The Militem Hero is available to order with a 200-hp (150-kW) gas turbo or a 190-hp (142-kW) diesel. The Ferox ships with a turbo-four rated at 272 hp (203 kW) or a non-turbo V6 with 285 hp (213 kW). The Magnum makes do with 401 hp (299 kW).
Rounding off the list of aftermarket upgrades are wide wheels clad in sports rubber and suspension lift kits. Prices are pending.
