The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX must be heaps of fun to drive, judging by its power. With a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 pumping out 702 U.S. horsepower (712 PS / 524 kW) and 881 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque, most drivers would not want anything more; those who would should probably go to Hennessey Performance.
The tuner has posted a work-in-progress video where the boosted monster truck passes a dyno test. The Mammoth TRX can be seen hitting the rear wheels with 728 hp (738 PS / 543 kW), a 150-hp (152-PS / 112-kW) improvement over the stock value. The max torque is 921 Nm (680 lb-ft).
As nice as this may sound, these figures are just the beginning. The tuner expects the car to be capable of 912 hp (925 PS / 680 kW) and 1,184 Nm (873 lb-ft) of torque in this spec, while the top 1000 TRX spec should ascend to 1,012 hp (1,026 PS / 755 kW) and 1,314 Nm (970 lb-ft) of torque. Finally, a 6x6 Mopar Hellephant V8 version is underway with seven liters of displacement and around 1,200 HP (1,225 PS / 900 kW) of thrust.
