Hennessey Performance has been busy finding the limits of the Ram 1500 TRX lately, first ramping up the nominal engine output to 900 horsepower and now to around 1,000.
In order to reach such impressive figures, the company used an improved supercharger with custom belt drives, a performance exhaust, and a software tune. The result was estimated at 1,026 PS (1,012 HP / 755 kW) and 1,315 Nm (970 lb-ft) of torque.
Actual dyno measurements showed 772 PS (761 hp / 568 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) actually reaching the wheels. Since the performance truck is exceptionally agile even straight from the factory, the tune should transform it into something downright brutal.
