Ram Trucks will soon be launching another special edition of its 1500 truck, named the BackCountry and targeting all active leisure enthusiasts.
The car will be shown at the Chicago Auto Show starting on Thursday, July 15. It comes with the 4x4 Off-Road Group package pre-installed, which includes underbody protection, towing eyes, tweaked shock absorbers, off-road tires, a hill descent assist, and a rear diff lock.
Other notable improvements include a nicely featured ruck bed with backlighting, a cargo rack and a foldable access step. You can tell the special version from stock thanks to its 18-inch wheels and a dual-tone exterior paintjob with black accents.
The BackCountry Edition will ship with a 5.7-liter V8 under the hood and an optional mild hybrid system. Prices will begin from $40,085.
