Ram and Mopar get two Ram 1500 concepts ready to rumble at SEMA

In just a few hours, automaker Ram and tuning specialist Mopar will unveil two off-road trucks live at the SEMA show. But in the meantime, let’s have a look at them.

The first car in our gallery here is called Gold Shot and is dedicated to off-road motorbike racing enthusiasts. The second one is called Backcountry X and has more of a utilitarian inclination.

You will recognize the Gold Shot by its bed rack designed to hold two cross bikes. The tailgate has been modified, and the bed itself features multiple roll bars. Other notable features include bumpers, 18-inch wheels, thematic body graphics and a special cabin trim.

As for the Backcountry X, it features a custom bed and tailgate optimized for efficient storage of mechanical tools and equipment. It also comes based on a tube frame with transverse braces, has auxiliary lights installed all around, 20-inch wheels, more robust shock absorbers and an extra 50 mm (2 inches) of ride height. In the cabin, a built-in vacuum cleaner could be the only highlight.
