A special mid-generational refresh of the famous Ram 1500 pickup truck – named the 2019 Ram 1500 Sport – will be released for the joy of all light-duty truck lovers in Canada (and nowhere else, unfortunately).
It is going to come equipped with lots of extra features and look a bit different from the stock model as well. Ram said that this special edition was a way of saying ‘thank you’ to all those Canadians who have bought over 100,000 pickup trucks of the brand over the past year alone.
The vehicle will be available in two versions: Quad Cab with the 4WD and Crew Cab without that. Customers will be able to pick their favorite color out of the available 10, and choose between 20” and 22” exclusive black-painted wheels. On the outside, the new Ram 1500 Sport sports its own logos, a cool new exhaust system, and a ventilated hood cover.
The interior of the car is dominated by metallic parts and leather padding. There is a modern infotainment system with a large touchscreen, an up-to-date speaker set, a warmed-up wheel, button-push ignition, and a number of safety and assistance-oriented features.
The 2019 Ram 1500 Sport still gets to keep its old and thrust-y 5.7L V8 engine which can deliver up to 395 horsepower and 555 Nm of torque.
