Car manufacturer Ram has come to the CES show this week with a concept truck called the 1500 Revolution. Turns out the rumors that had circulated for three years about such a model coming to the market were true, after all. The official launch year is 2024.
The rest of the details are scarce. The powertrain comprises to electric motors, but the platform the truck is based upon supports larger engine counts, too. Charging is possible from stations rated up to 350 kW, and maxing out the charging power nets you 100 miles (161 kilometers) of range per 10 minutes of waiting.
Aside from having two seat rows in the cabin, the truck has enough space in the back for a pair of rumble seats. The seats and the console can be moved around to maximize space.
The infotainment system consists of two displays 28 inches across combined. There is also a VR-powered heads-up display, voice command support and other tech gimmicks.
