The battery-powered RAM 1500 Revolution was introduced to us at the CES show in early 2023, and the company has now followed up with a full-fledged production truck advertised in a (hilarious) video below.
As you may have noticed, the concept vehicle looked like a new, standalone model somewhat reminiscent of the Chevy Silverado EV. In contrast, the REV looks much like its gas-powered cousin, the Ram 1500. On the exterior side of things, the differences are basically the same as between the Ford F-150 and the F-150 Lightning.
Having said that, the wheels come from the concept version and so does the front fascia with its illuminated RAM badge. So, there’s that.
The ad gives us a brief glimpse of the interior with a familiar dashboard, a similar-looking center console with a touchscreen display on it, and some other details. The extra display installed in front of the passenger seat on the right is new, though.
The rest of the electric pickup remains to be revealed. RAM says it may reach production around 2024, but you can already leave a pre-order if interested.
