Rugged Mountain Custom RV is known for its tailor-made camping modules for exacting customers, and this is precisely what Jesse Collinsworth and his spouse were looking for.
The couple had considered multiple ready-made motorhomes, but found none that would suit both them and their children. They then turned their attention to the Denali 3S camper installable on the Chevrolet Silverado 5500 HD, Ford F-550 and Ram 5500. The thing looks rather cramped when moving, but once you park, you can extend multiple sections to maximize interior space.
Found on board is a stovetop, a stainless-steel sink, a fridge and even a fireplace. There is also a large bed for two and a bunk bed for the kids. Solar panels are optional.
The Denali 3S starts from U.S. $74,900 before options. Rugged Mountain Custom RV says it makes between 12 and 20 such campers per year.
