The compact-sized Ram 1200 pickup has been repeatedly sighted on the roads outside of North America, but the latest batch of spy photos reveal a prototype with a Michigan license plate.
Despite the rather frayed camo, the true outlines of the truck remain difficult to discern. There is still no mistaking the signature Ram 1500 headlights (see video) and the rectangular DRLs. Furthermore, even though it is hidden under wraps, the radiator grille has characteristic bumps on it that look like those of the Ram 1500.
There are two main candidates for the engine: a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder and a 2.2-liter turbo diesel. However, if the alleged Ram 1200 does get a U.S. release, it will probably ditch the diesel option there and go with just the petrol engine.
