Meet the Winnebago Solis Pocket, a compact RV due out this fall

Winnebago is widely known for producing quality campervans and RVs, but ‘affordable’ hasn’t been on its feature list until recently. The Solis Pocket, which uses the Ram ProMaster cargo van chassis, could change this situation when it ships this autumn.

The car is poised as comparatively lightweight and maneuverable while still well-suited for a family of two living in it all year round. Found on board are a full-fledged kitchen with a sink, a fridge and a two-burner stove, a work and recreation area with a table and soft chairs, a bed for two, and a bio toilet. Solar panels on the roof can supply up to 170W when the weather is right, and two 20-gallon (75-liter) tanks are provided for fresh and used water.

The standard trim starts from U.S. $95,736, making the model the most affordable on the Winnebago lineup so far.
