Motorhomes with extra accessibility features aren’t exactly new – Winnebago has a few such models, too – but the recently revealed Winnebago Roam is comparatively compact, while still offering plenty of movement freedom inside.
The car comes built on the Ram ProMaster chassis and features a remotely controlled Braun UVL wheelchair lift. There are also internal mount points that can be used to hold the chair in place.
Winnebago took care for all cabinets and storage spaces to be accessible from a sitting person’s height. The fully featured kitchen and the bathroom have also been designed with these considerations in mind.
Finally, there is a sofa inside that you can turn into a bed with a single push of a button.
