Ram has retouched the ProMaster somewhat, refreshing the exterior and adding body styles that the company hopes would help it compete on the current market.
Compared to the last year model shown in the attached video, the new van sports a subtly redesigned front bumper with new air intakes and a step for easy access to the windshield and wipers. The radiator grille can be specified in all black or with a chrome bezel.
Halogen headlamps are standard, but you can pay extra for LEDs. Both options are said to be more efficient than they were. For the first time on record, buyers can opt for a roll-back door and an ultra-high ceiling (+250 mm / +10 inches). A styling pack called Black Appearance can be used to add more dark accents on the outside.
Power for the new ProMaster comes from a reworked 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 capable of 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW) and 339 Nm (250 lb-ft) of torque. This is a slight decrease in power compared to the last year model. The transmission is nine-speed automatic and unchanged.
