Renault will attend the 2019 Auto Shanghai show with the same K-ZE Concept all-electric SUV it showed us at the Paris trade fair last fall. The car is the first Renault EV designed primarily for China, although the company intends to make it available in other regions as well.
The concept vehicle sports a combo paint along with originally-styled front and rear. It is otherwise close to the Renault Kwid in terms of exterior design.
The French marque targets a broad audience with the model, which means that it will be relatively affordable. Despite this, it will ship with lots of features, such as satellite navigation, multimedia, backup camera, and other modern tech.
There is nothing known about the engine(s) right now. The manufacturer says the car has 250 km (155 miles) NEDC-rated driving range, with its actual range being closer to 200 km (125 miles). Hopefully, we will learn more on April 16, 2019 when the show opens.
The production will take place on Nissan and Dongfeng assembly lines located in China.
