Renault unveils the restyled Master & Trafic

Car manufacturer Renault has taken the wraps off the facelifted versions of its Master and Trafic van / minibus series. Both models have gained slightly refreshed looks, fuel-efficient engines, and new features.

The exterior novelty in both cases mostly boils down to redesigned headlights, radiator grille, and bumpers.

Moving on to the cabin, both cars now ship with a high-end multimedia system (R-Link Evolution / Media Nav Evolution).

You can now purchase a Renault Master with a rear view camera, a front parking assist sensor, a blind spot monitor, and a roll stabilization system that keeps the car stable under strong lateral wind.

The Renault Trafic comes with a Trailer Assist feature, a rear view cam, and front/rear parking sensors.

The Master now ships with a new 2.3-liter dCi diesel engine that complies with the Euro6d-Temp standard and is available in a few different versions producing up to 177 hp (132 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lbft) of torque. You can get it with a six-speed manual or semi-automatic transmission. There is also an all-electric trim capable of 75 hp (56 kW) and 120 km (75 miles) of range.

The Trafic features an improved 2.0-liter diesel engine now available in versions ranging from 118 hp (88 kW) to 167 hp (125 kW). For the first time in the history of the model, you can opt for a fully automatic transmission as long as you choose the strongest engine.
