Renault has begun testing the final production version of its Kiger CUV for India. The car should debut in early 2021 priced from just 5.3 Rs Lakh.
The newcomer shares the CMF-A+ unitized architecture with the Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kwid.
Exterior design is going to be one of the main highlights of the Kiger, judging by the slim LED headlights spanning the entire front fascia width, a massive rear spoiler, 19-inch wheels, and an exhaust pipe in the middle.
Customers will be able to purchase the crossover with a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated engine worth 72 PS (71 hp / 53 kW) and a turbocharged three-cylinder rated at 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW). Both will come with five-speed manual and CVT transmission options to choose from.
