Renault will be showing us its compact-sized Kiger CUV on January 28, 2021. The production car will resemble the design study unveiled last November and will be available exclusively in India.
In all likelihood, it will run on Nissan Magnite chassis and powertrain, which means a choice between two one-liter, three-cylinder engines. The naturally aspirated one will likely churn out 72 PS (71 hp / 53 kW) and the turbocharged one 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW). The former option comes with a five-speed manual transmission, while the latter supports CVT as well. The drive stays on the front axle in both cases.
Once out, the Renault Kiger will compete with the other Indian SUVs sized under four meters long.
