French are seriously concerned about the consolidation of their positions in India, whose fast-growing car market is one of the most perspective in the world. Renault company is going to release a new compact crossover in this country. The novelty will be shown to public in the first half of 2017.
Today Renault offers to the Indian consumers such models as Renault Pulse, Lodgy minivan, Duster crossover and budget Kwid hatchback. Sales of the last made more than 9 000 units in 2016, that makes the model the best-seller of French brand in India.
It is expected, that the design of the new crossover won't begin to repeat an exterior of previous Renault cars. Most likely, the novelty will have the same platform as Kwid. The crossover will also be equipped with the 1,9-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 185 hp. Mechanical or automatic transmission will work together with the motor.
