Renault is getting ready to unveil a concept car operating on the principle of hydrogen combustion. It is set to debut at the ChangeNOW Expo in Paris, France on May 19, 2022.
The ‘unprecedented’ car was originally announced in February along with a teaser revealing its front fascia and headlights. The company has now published a second image, but it is even less informative than the first one. In fact, a backlit Renault badge near some side glass is all there is to see.
In case you were confused, the concept in question is not a fuel cell vehicle, like the Toyota Mirai. Instead, it runs on a conventional combustion engine modified to burn hydrogen gas instead of petrol.
