Alpine, a premium brand of Renault, published the latest news aboout A120 sports car, which is preparing for its debut at Geneva Motor Show. You can see lightweight seats in images (their weight is 13.1 kg) and the elements of the exterior. Creators make a great emphasis on aerodynamic cars: some engineering solutions are borrowed from race cars. A model has a lightweight aluminum body, a flat floor, a bumper, mounted in the rear splitter, thanks to which the need for a rear spoiler disappears.
The car is equipped by the new 1,8-liter petrol turbo engine, the power of which makes over 250 h.p. The sports car reaches the first "hundred" on a speedometer in 4,5 seconds.
Alpine A120 will be exhausted as a limited Premier Edition series with 1955 copies, and the preorder will be available only after the deposit payment in ammount of 2 000 euros. The novelty will be on sale in EU countries, then it will be exported to the United Kingdom and Japan.
