Renault has delivered on its promise to bring the concept car number 5 (see video) into mass production, but there’s a catch.
The car shown in the gallery here targets children aged 3 and older and is already available on the automaker’s official website for €295. Look for it in the Accessories department.
On the outside, the pedal car looks very similar to the concept version at both ends. It also rides on the same wheels and has functional taillights.
There is only one seat inside, and the weight of the driver must not exceed 30 kilos (66 pounds). The seat is adjustable across three positions and comes wrapped in leather and fabric.
The exterior dimensions are 1,060 x 580 x 460 millimeters (41.4 x 22.7 x18 inches).
