Remember when Renault promised to astonish the visitors to the Geneva International Motor Show 2018 by revealing a car that would look like something that belongs in a sci-fi movie?
Well, you don’t have to wait until then, not anymore, at least. A Renault prototype vehicle fitting the description to the last detail has recently been spotted by a spy photographer on Barcelona streets.
At a first glance, it is immediately obvious that the car lacks conventional doors. These have been replaced with some transparent panels. The interior warrants a closer look, but ‘futuristic’ is certainly one word to describe it. There’s no driver in the driver seat, either: the vehicle is being steered remotely by an operator.
Last but not least, since there are no exhaust pipes to be seen, it stands to reason that the new Renault prototype is full-electric. Regrettably, no official data is available on the vehicle at the moment.
