The Renault Niagara that has just premiered in Brazil is a compact-sized hybrid pickup designed to give us an idea of what to expect from the French marque in the future.
The petite truck has a radiator grille spanning its entire body width and an illuminated Renault lettering instead of a badge. The headlights are arranged in two tiers.
A winch at the front, a roof rack, flared fenders, a full-fledged spare wheel and lifted suspension make it look like the model was built specifically for rally racing.
The underlying architecture is not specified. The vehicle is 4.9 meters (16.1 feet) long with 2.9 meters (9.5 feet) between the axles. A 48V starter generator assists the main engine alongside an electric motor mounted at the front axle. The output is not mentioned, either.
