The French automaker has posted a rather detailed image showing the cabin of its upcoming new crossover SUV, the Austral. Looking familiar yet?
In case you were unable to put a finger on it, the whole digital ensemble comes from the Megane E-Tech Electric. The touchscreens are arranged in a similar fashion, too. The manufacturer claims the center display will have an unusual shape, but offer an intuitive experience with plenty of in-car functions just one or two taps away.
There are also assorted storage pockets and niches for miscellaneous small items, which Renault claims total 30 liters in volume. The rear bench can be moved forward or folded down. In top trim levels, the folding occurs automatically at a push of a button.
Sales in Europe start in spring.
