The Indian division of the French automaker introduced a compact crossover Renault Captur for the home market.
At the heart of the car is a modular VO platform, familiar from the Renault Duster model. Dimensions of the novelty are the following: length - 4,329 mm, width - 1,813 mm, height - 1,619 mm, wheelbrace width - 2,673 mm and ground clearance 210 mm.
In the engine range Renault Captur includes two power units: a 106-hp gasoline engine H4K in volume of 1.5 liters and a diesel engine K9K with a similar volume and capacity of 110 horsepower. The first power unit will work with a 5-speed manual transmission, and the second - with the same 6-speed.
As for the exterior of the novelty, it came out quite stylish and modern, thanks to the two-color body color, dynamic turn signals, 17-inch Crystal Cut cast wheels and advanced lighting equipment.
Inside the compact SUV, a multimedia system with a 7-inch monitor and navigation, four airbags, cruise control, adjustable ErgoDesign seats, made of leather, and this is far from an exhaustive list of options.
The official start of sales of compact crossover Renault Captur in India will start in October this year.
