The French car manufacturer Renault said it would reveal the second-generation Captur compact crossover in 2019. It went on to supply some details about the upcoming update.
The 2nd-gen Renault Captur will utilize the CMF-B modular platform as basis. As a consequence, it will offer a larger wheel base and more interior space than its predecessor model.
Among other things, the new Renault Captur will be released with an extended engine palette. There is going to be a brand-new, 100-horsepower V3 developed especially for the vehicle. Two further models will get V4s with 140 and 160 hp, respectively. Last but not least, a mild-hybrid model will be made available with a diesel engine.
Sales of the refreshed Renault Captur are penciled in for early 2020.
